We have UKAS Accreditation to undertake asbestos surveys in accordance with MDHS 100 (Type 1, 2, 3 surveys – see our services section for further details) and Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2006 (CAW 2006). Our surveyors have all acquired the BOHS P402 module Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos (or equivalent) and are fully conversant with the requirements of HSE guidance note MDHS 100.
We also have staff who are practical assessors for BOHS and site and office auditors for ARCA.
All Bulk Samples taken during surveying are analysed by a UKAS accredited laboratory in accordance with HSG248 (Analysts guide for sampling, analysis and clearance procedures). Following on from a survey we are able to provide guidance in the preparation of a management plan and it's implementation. For some clients we implement an asbestos re-inspection programme as part of their management plan.
We also have an asbestos database for the management of survey data, which is bespoken to suit client's needs.
