ABP is an independent family run SME Asbestos Consultancy supplying a full range of Asbestos services for over 25 years. Our UKAS Accredited services include Asbestos Surveying, Asbestos Analysis including Soils & Ballast, Air Monitoring and 4 Stage Clearance as well as general asbestos consultancy services such as scoping, specifications and project management and support.
We also provide certified asbestos training under both IATP and BOHS including licensed and non-licensed works, operative training and Asbestos Proficiency Modules. We are the Southern Training centre for ARCA for all licensed training.
Other services include face fit testing and water absorption testing.
Surveys
ABP are a UKAS-accredited inspection body (No. 402) offering surveying services including management, refurbishment and demolition as well as reinspections of residential, commercial and industrial premises and installations. This accreditation includes Priority Risk Assessment and bulk sampling. Our surveying team have over 140 years of experience between them servicing clients predominantly in the south as well as nationwide.
Testing
ABP are a UKAS-accredited testing laboratory (No.4494) providing services to ensure safety and compliance across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors, including rail and petrochemical. Our team of qualified analysts deliver precise air monitoring, sample analysis, and soil testing services tailored to your needs. With over 25 years of expertise, we help clients nationwide meet their asbestos responsibilities to remain compliant.

ABP are a leading asbestos training organisation and certified ARCA training centre located in Southampton, Hampshire. For over 25 years we have delivered a wide range of courses to suit all your asbestos training needs, including IATP certified asbestos safety training, industry recognised BOHS qualifications and licensed asbestos removal training, as well as bespoke courses tailored to your individual requirements.
Consultancy
ABP Associates consultants provide support to our clients in the management of asbestos in buildings, incident investigations, interpreting reports and developing pragmatic solutions to manage the legacy of asbestos use in the UK and overseas.
We provide asbestos in soils consultancy, to interpret the discovery of asbestos in soils found in geotechnical survey reports. ABP aim to provide practical solutions to ensure the safety of site workers and advise on the long-term safe use of the site when asbestos is retained on site. The solutions can include a remediation plan, risk assessments and training for ground workers. We can also provide support for the discharge of planning conditions. Our aim is to provide a common sense and cost-effective solution for managing the risk of asbestos in soils.
